Our filtration equipment is certified and meets the health standards for human consumption dictated by NSF International, the international public health organization.

Reverse osmosis is the most widely used technology for obtaining purified water used by the large water purification companies that sell you bottled water.

It is a filtration process that combines physical and chemical components to remove all contaminating organic matter from the water. Its operation requires pre-treatment of the water. Therefore, if your home's drinking water comes from the CAASD (Central District Water Commission), you meet the minimum requirements to be part of the Purax community. At the time of installation, we will measure the hardness and dissolved solids in your water to recommend a quality solution that meets your needs.

They have six filtration stages, which filter waste from largest to smallest size.:

1. Sediment Filter: Removes fungi, mold, and metal particles from pipes

2. Activated carbon: Removes chlorine

3. Microfiltration: Invisible and microscopic impurities are removed

4. Osmosis membrane: Remaining contaminants are removed by 98%.

5. Post-filter: Contains plant-based carbon that improves the taste of filtered water

After these rigorous filtration stages, the water is purified and ready to be transferred to the storage tank.
